CSA 22-012: Assault

The University of Toronto Campus Safety Special Constable Service would like to make the U of T community aware of a recent assault and hate related incident.

It was reported, on Monday October 24th at approximately 3:20pm, the victim, was standing at the corner of St. George Street and Bloor Street when an unknown female approached and assaulted the victim, unprovoked. The suspect quickly left the area walking Southbound on St. George Street. The suspect had also yelled a racial epithet toward the victim. Campus Safety confirms the assault to be hate related.


The suspect is described as female in her 20’s, light skin, long black hair, approximately 5’5, wearing a black top, blue jeans, scarf and black backpack.

Virtual TravelSafer and Mobile Bluelight: These features are available through the U of T Safety App and can be used to trigger a distress beacon, in the event of an emergency, to send your location to a Campus Safety dispatcher and summon help.
